About the Foundation

Transforming thyroid healthcare, one patient at a time.

We are an independent 501(c)(3) organization led by volunteer professionals with the sole goal of improving thyroid healthcare worldwide.

Our mission

Every thyroid patient deserves real options.

The Thyroid Foundation exists so every thyroid patient has real treatment options. We empower patients, educate providers, and fund the progress that makes better care possible.

What that means

Too many thyroid patients are told their labs are normal while they still feel unwell. The Thyroid Foundation exists to change that. We stand with patients fighting for real treatment options, equip the providers who care for them, and fund the progress that moves thyroid medicine forward.

Patients · Providers · Progress

The Thyroid Foundation is an independent, volunteer-led nonprofit working toward one goal: better thyroid care for every patient.

Patients — we defend each person’s right to personalized treatment and the full range of medication options.

Providers — we educate and amplify the clinicians who treat thyroid disease every day.

Progress — we fund research and innovation that bridges conventional and integrative thyroid medicine.
